Teams & permissions
Roles, sharing conversations, and access control.
Roles
Access is controlled through roles and teams. Your role determines what you can do in the workspace — for example viewing data, querying databases, managing the catalog, or administering the platform. Teams group users together so access and permissions can be granted at scale.
You can be a member of multiple teams, and database or dataset access is managed separately from your role. Requesting access to a database you do not have yet is done directly from the catalog.
Share & collaborate
Conversations can be shared with other users, with specific teams, or made visible workspace-wide. When you share a conversation you can control what teammates can do — view it, or explore the underlying query and data themselves.
Shared conversations make analysis transparent: teammates see the question, the generated SQL, and the results, so insights can be verified and reused instead of being passed around as screenshots.
Security
Your data stays where it is. The platform connects to your databases with your credentials and never copies your data. Everything is audited — who ran which query, on which data source, and when — so administrators have full visibility.
Workspace administrators can enforce access policies, manage authentication (including SSO), and review all activity. Combined with the glossary and domain context, these guardrails keep the assistant both powerful and safe.
